![]() ![]() I was thankful to achieve a natural delivery however, labor was wrought with restrictions in movement and pressure to comply with hospital policies. My first birth experience (which you can read here) left much to be desired. Im just really enjoying the game a lot so far and kind of regretting not trying it sooner.“Wherever and however you intend to give birth, your experience will impact your emotions, your mind, your body, and your spirit for the rest of your life.” –Ina MayĪs I prepared to give birth to my second child, Hayes Alan, the quote above spoke to my soul. The gameplay is also pretty good and not having the ability to use a gun at the start and having guns degrade over time until you get the ability to maintain them is great as well, makes you not want to spam bullets all over the place with the already limited ammo you have and encourages you to use your Psi powers, avoid encounters or go melee with the wrench even though that might get you killed a lot. Another thing I really love when games do it is audio logs that let you unlock rooms by remembering the codes on them, that just adds another level of immersion to the game for me even though its not exactly a big feature. ![]() Most areas seem decently different from one another too so that you can easily identify where you are at. I know there are even more that I will start to encounter shortly from what I have seen while looking stuff up about the game.Īlso the level design is great as well, sometimes I get lost but honestly I like that, its not just all one straight path and areas eventually start to connect to one another leading to shortcuts. Enemy encounters are introduced very well after facing a lot of Hybrids I was introduced to psychic monkeys who shoot beams at me which is more awesome then it sounds and as I start to get a bit bored some Hybrids start using shotguns which changes things up a bit and then I am now starting to see robots which are a pain right now. I love the atmosphere, art style and I am really liking the story so far. Okay so this is my frist time playing System Shock 2, I have always heard a lot about the game and I enjoyed Bioshock 1 and Infinite a lot and I've known System Shock was the precursor to the Bioshock series and it was only $2.50 on Steam so I figured "Why the hell not?". ![]()
